Who gets the points?
I made a reservation using my rewards account, and I will pay for the stay, but the guest is someone else and I will not be staying at the hotel. Will I still get the points from that reservation?
Thanks!
Thanks!

No, I will not be there. I have actually sent a credit card authorization form so they charge me when the guest checks in, so the hotel knows I am paying but won't stay.

It depends. Is your name and acct # on the reservation? If yes, then you get the credit. If not, you do not get anything. If you want to get credit, your name and acct # should be on reservation, then you should add another guest name, which in this case it will be the one person that will actually stay there. Also advise on reservation that you authorize guest to check in.
