It's saddening to hear you have problems with this. Please know our inbox is open if you would like us to check a specific property. In that case, kindly include the full name, mailing address, email, and phone number linked to your account, along with the hotel's exact address and arrival & departure dates. Warmly, -Mei

That's correct. Please note that a luxury night stay at one of these hotels or resorts ranges from 30,000 to 60,000 points per night. Therefore, if on the website, the price shown is 45 or 55 points, it means it will cost 45,000 or 55,000 points. We hope this information helps. Should you have more questions, please let us know. -Kathy

Hello everyone,
Last night choice made booking preferred hotels much easier and even made finding the availability much easier as seen on frequent-miller's most recent blog. Has anybody found any particularly good sweet spots as buying choice points right now is 0.69 cents per point so anything over 2 cents per point vlaue would be really good. So far the best I've found is Chatham bars inn which is a nice beachside retreat in Cape Cod.

Resort fees?

Are there any taxes or resort fees at preferred hotels using choice privilege points bookings?

There can be. One of the PHG properties tried to charge me, but I disputed it after the fact since nowhere did the confirmation say extra taxes were due.

I PREFER Titanium Status

Will my I Prefer, Preferred Hotels, Titanium Status count for anything, when I book these Preferred Hotels with my Choice points.
I understand the Choice points will get me a Basic room. Would like get some upgrade with my status, but don’t have Choice status.

Hi there! We appreciate your interest in staying at a Preferred Hotel. Kindly note that when placing a reservation using your reward points, we choose the room type available at that time. Moreover, all rooms available will require the same amount of points. We hope this information helps. Thank you kindly for your valuable time, and we hope you have a wonderful day.

I was about to book Hotel Nikko in San Francisco until I saw the $45 amenity fee due. No thanks, I'll keep my no fee 25k IHG res.
