PJs bulging with fat in the breakfast room!
Just got back from the breakfast room in a Comfort Inn. 2 women came in, mid-50s, quite obese-- barefoot with thin flannel PJs on! It was hard to finish eating breakfast with such a sight early in the morning. And they had time to put on 4 (large!) earrings each before coming to eat, but not clothes or anything on their feet! I would have put on dark glasses to aid digestion if I'd had a dark enough pair along.

I can't say I have an appreciation for "fat bashing" since I find it childish, but I do agree the wardrobe/lack of footwear sounds rude. Care to include the location? Where I'm from the earrings signify "dressed up" and I see people of all body types wearing payama bottoms to all sorts of inapproppriate places. So perhaps you will be seeing a trend

While they may have been unsightly, the bare feet are probably a health code violation, which could be pointed out to the hotel staff.
I know some folks wear earrings to bed, but I'm not sure how large they can be before they are a problem.
Was this shortly before breakfast closed, so they might have felt the need to rush down?
