My first statement on my Choice Visa closed a few weeks ago and they received my payment on 12/15. However, no points (new member, points for purchases) have posted to my account. That seems really strange compared with the other loyalty cards I have, but this is my first Barclay's card. Is that normal?

I have the Choice Visa since May and my points always post within two days of my statement posting, including my first statement. I have had no problems at all with Barclay's.
You should definitely contact Barclay's and see why your points aren't posting. Perhaps they don't have your correct Choice account number?

I contacted Barclays and could not really get a response. I finally contacted Choice and after some digging it seems that Barclays created a new account for me, so the points did post but I never saw them. They had to merge the two accounts and now it's really unclear which is my correct account number. I think they said both account numbers will work since now they are merged. That is kind of weird, but hopefully it will work out going forward. Originally Posted by onthego15

I don't know what's wrong with Barclays, they had sent me a direct mailer to get me to apply that had my Choice number on it in the first place.
