After a few hours I got a corp id for choice rewards. For company travels. I was given a temp. corp. id number to use till last Friday.
Booked a room for this weekend to travel to meet a customer. I am going to be away from home for 2 nights same hotel. I used the temp. number they gave me on the 13th. I called choice customer service to make sure there would be no problem. They said no problem and gave me my new corp id number. I pre paid for the room from my desk at home. I then travel 3 hours and figure I have covered all my bases and "Boom" "We can not take that card sir" "Your name is not on it"
Dumb ... my company's name is there......
I booked this room through my business plus I used a Corp Id rate..

Choice is not the sharpest pencil in the cup, but did you think to call and see what CS could do for you? I've used several special rates and have never been asked to show a card. Also, did you check your corporate rate against others? Many times I find AAA, LPGA, or AARP to be better than corporate.

At least you stepped up a bit on your alternate arrangements.
