Shanghai to Beijing flight
Sorry for revisiting a much discussed topic, but with the new Terminal and constant changes.....Any thoughts on a preferred airline and best time of day for a one way from Shanghai to Beijing in mid May? Comfort and ease of travel are most important to us. Thanks so much!

I'm between flying MU or CA. The CA985 flies out of PVG while MU5107 departs from SHA. Also, I've just learned that seats are not assigned til check in at the airport, even in F. Any thoughts? Again, many thanks for all your help!

Unless staying really close to the Maglev station (e.g. Jinjiang Sofitel), SHA is probably more convenient.
