I'm hopefully going to Beijing with the wife in February and wanted to do an open jaw flying into PEK but out of ICN. 4 days Beijing, 2 days Seoul.
I used some of the websites mentioned in this forum to price a one-way from Beijing to Seoul, but the only one that gives me a price is elong.com.
For February 21st, it prices out at 750cny, but I'm not sure if that's the final price. Has anyone used this site for international flights?
Is it similar to domestic Chinese flights where we could book tickets for this leg when we get there and still get something reasonably priced?
I'm sure I'll have more questions after I book the flight. Thanks in advance.

Looking on the bright side, you'll still probably come in south of 1100, which is less than it costs to fly to SH much of the time (this was certainly not the case 3 years ago).
Tangent: I'm guessing your 750 fare is on CZ (because CA, OZ, and KE rarely drop that low). If that's the case, there's a 90% chance that it will depart from the international part of T2, ....but there's a 10% chance that it won't. I only mention this because I caused a friend to miss a flight a year ago by giving him info that I thought was rock-solid (he was flying PEK-XMN-MNL on CZ and I wrongly assumed T1 was the correct call because PEK-XMN is domestic).

CZ it is. It looks like they tack on another 413cny. From the other threads here, it doesn't seem like it's the most trustworthy of the sites.
I emailed tickets9588 also, they quoted me 1750+440 on CA + 5%.
I checked Asiana on the US website, it's close to $550. If you use the Asiana China website, it prices out at 1650+405, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to book on that site since I'm not a resident of China. It's tough to tell from the website.
Thanks for the warning on CZ. I'm sure I'm going to have a fun time at the airport there
I have to discuss with the wife and see if we just want to stay in China for the week. If so, do you think that it's worth doing Beijing and Shanghai?
My wife's only request is to see the Great Wall (the hike described in these forums sounds great), so the debate is whether to do Beijing for the week or try the whirlwind tour with Xi'an, Shanghai or somewhere a little more rural.
Thanks.
