Porters at PVG?
Are there porters readily available at PVG just to get our luggage off the belt and onto a cart?
Also, if you have any rec. for two women spending 6 days in Shanghai, would love to hear them! We're interested in doing some day trips too-will be there at the end of Jan. Thanks.

Clear Health & Immigration, then get to baggage claim. No porters at the carousels, just free carts. Then clear customs. Lots of people wanting to help you on the other side. Avoid them. Pre-arrange for a driver from your hotel to transport you your first time, before you leave home. Driver likely won't speak much English, but will hold a sign with your name and will handle your bags from there to the car. A private car will cost 250-350RMB. Hotel car 500-600RMB. Taxi 150-200RMB, depending on hotel location.
Right now ~7.3RMB=$1USD
6 Days in Shanghai? You'd be better with 2-3 and a side trip to Beijing.

moving the carts. I think one time I saw them moving around some baggage
that appeared to be waiting for passengers from a misconnected flight, but
TMK they don't assist in getting bags off of the carousel.
