Is Wuhan worth an extra day?
On my trip to China next week I have the option of an extra (weekend) day in Wuhan or spending it back in Beijing, where I've been before. Is Wuhan worth an extra day, in terms of just walking around, different cuisines, and/or seeing some sights?
Thanks for any info.

Well, Moondog, I don't know if you're offending anyone, but thanks very much for your replies to my various queries re this China trip.

I just spent about 6 weeks in Wuhan and am about to spend about 3 more. There are some nice restaurants, a very nice park next to the lake, and some other sites to see (Yellow Crane Tower, Guiyuan Temple, etc.) So if you are going to be there, there are some things to see and do.
But in general, I would suspect that there are similar parks, temples, etc, in Beijing or the other cities you will be visiting. If it were me, if it costs you much money, I wouldn't stop in Wuhan, but if you can do it without costing much, there are some things to see and do.

No prob. I'm planning on going back to BJ this Friday (arrive Sat) so drop me a line if you're down to attack a duck (nothing metaphorical in this statement).
