Portable DVD Player (2nd Hand)
I'm flying out to IAD in a few weeks and am on the lookout for cheap 2nd hand portable dvd players. I'm sure I can pick one up at Nurenjie for pretty cheap, but does anyone have an idea of a price range? Also what about anything specific to look out for? My price range is 250 RMB or less, and I'll even throw in some extra money for a spare battery/repairs. All I care is that it lasts me for about 5-8 hours on the way to IAD and on the flight back to PEK a few weeks after that.
Anyone have any suggestions/ideas? I've tried asking in That's Beijing forums but to no avail.
Cheers

BTW, I didn't realize you were still around. Drop me a line some time.

That's actually not a bad idea. I did go over to Nurenjie today and was dissapointed. They only had new portable dvd players and the cheapest starting price I got was something like 800 (I bet I could have gotten something for 5-600 had I tried, but its still out of my range).
Although if someone wants a mobile often (often new, buyer beware), this is the place to get one. Get ready to spend a fair amount of time and bargain hard.
Furthermore, if someone is in town and I have time, I would be more than happy to help them with a mobile phone purchase there. Just make sure you have an idea of what you're willing to pay and are willing to spend a minimum of 1-2 hours.
