what to do when it's raining in Beijing

Looks like storms all week, and this my first stay in China.

Any suggestions for things to do that minimize exposure to the weather and yet have some tourist, educational or cultural value?

go shopping at Xidan, do some bargaining...and check out the arcade on one of the top floors and chat with the punk rockers

Another thought: find a good tailor and have a few traditional Chinese shirts made
