T8 in Shanghai, China

T8 restaurant in the Xintiandi neighborhood of Shanghai, China was mentioned by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as being a "hot" table.

Any feedback?

edited to add: the review called T8 the best restaurant in all of Shanghai

Chances are no one will ever read this, but since I chanced upon your post, sweetwillie, here are my two cents. T8 is okay, but nothing special. Even in Xintiandi, I would at least go some place with interesting food, such as Che. Personally, I only go to XTD for happy hours and weekly specials (Wednesday burgers at Kabb) because while entertaining, there are far more gratifying ways to burn cash in Shanghai (Portman brunch, champagne at Face, even go-karting.)
