I'm planning a RTW-trip in which I will fly 15 different Skyteam airlines for a challange. A few of them requires to me travel to and from China. I've read all the rules about entry free visa to China - and I think my itinerary isnt breaking any rules. But since so much is at stake with 15 separate tickets in total, I would very much appreciate if someone could confirm my China trips wont case any issues at the chinese immigration:
Day 1
SGN-XMN, 12:25 - 16:35 (MF)
XMN-BKK, 22:15 - 00:45 (MF) (These two are separate tickets)
Day 5
BKK-CAN, 14:40 - 18:35 (KQ) (Planning to spend a night at a hotel in Guangzhou)
Day 6
CAN-TPE 17:30 - 19:35 (CI)
Day 8
TPE-ICN, 12:25 - 15:50 (KE)
Day 9
ICN-PVG-HND 12:55 - 20:50 (MU) (same ticket)

As long as you have an eligible passport, you are fine.
The first is just an airside transit ( and while I do not recall exactly, I think XMN does have airside transit availability).
Day 5-6 is an easy TWOV.
Day 9 is also an airside transit.

Does being dual national come into play to benefit of this visa-free access scheme? I am a French and British national so wanted to take advantage of flying from the UK but on my French passport to avoid the admin of a visa application. I wonder if that could work? I know entry forms usually ask you if you are citizen of multiple countries and to list them. Has anyone been in a similar situation and successfully entered the country through this scheme? Thanks!

And to add to this, there is question on the arrivals card for additional citizenships

Lot of foreign visitors taking advantage of that visa-free entry. Despite having 10 posts open, the foreign passeports queue took an hour at CAN........so many arrivals from Europe and Central Asia. And contrary to my expectations, the load on my flight from Frankfurt was quite full, mostly Germans.

If your arrival is about a week ago in the past, the Canton Fair might be the reason. Though it already end on Nov 4th.
