Long layover in PVG - hotel?
Hi all, OneWorld doesn't seem to do much in China, so I'm flying Delta after a long long gap. I arrive in the evening on Delta at PVG and have a 20 hour layover before a connecting flight on China Southern. Booked on the Delta website.
1. Any chance Delta or China Southern provide me a hotel? (No status whatsoever on SkyMiles, but they sold me ths itinerary.)
2. If not, any particular suggestions for hotels or locations? USD 100 would be fine.
3. Fifteen free hours starting at PVG. Go - where? (I've spent a few days in Shanghai before.)

0. Are you flying inside China or just connecting at PVG? You can fly JL or CX/KA to quite a few places in China.
1. STPC is not usually offered (by most carriers), but you can ask Delta.
2. There are Homesinn and Jinjiang, etc., that cost under USD100. Make sure you get a room in a hotel that can accept foreigners.
3. 15 hours - just enjoy some nightlife in Shanghai.
