Immediate return from PEK
I'm looking to complete a possible MR (DEN>ORD>PEK>IAD>DEN). The stop in PEK is 2 hours.
1) Is this reasonable?
2) Would I need a visa? I have read other places a situation like this wouldn't qualify under a 24-hr TWOV. Any insight?

I would suggest not doing this even with a visa. I don't think you can get BP exiting PEK in the US. IIRC, you need to check in at least ETD-60 min in PEK. The chance is that you cannot get on a return flight in two hours.
