Help! When does my wife come back?

Mrs. PTravel is returning from visiting her parents in Guangzhou. Last night she told me she was on "Cathay," which I assume is Cathay Pacific (she books her tickets through a consolidator, so I never know what airline she winds up on). She couldn't recall the flight number, but told me she was getting in to LAX at 7:25 pm today.

Well, I just checked Cathay Pacific's flight status and, of course, there is no 7:25 flight from Hong Kong (which is where I assume she was departing from). There's a flight in at 9:55 pm.

Now I'm wondering if she's actually on Cathay. I don't want to get there at 7:30 or so and then wait around for 2-1/2 hours. However, I also don't want her to wait around for 2-1/2 hours after a 16 hour flight. What's worse, if she's not on Cathay, her departure airport could be Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or even Beijing (sometimes she returns from there, though usually on UA or Air China).

Anyone have any good ideas on how to solve this dilemma?

China Southern has some good fares CAN-LAX as they have the A-380
to fill up.

Flight CZ-327 arrives LAX scheduled 7:00PM.

So 7:30 arrival times sounds correct, 30 minutes to clear imm and baggage.

Thanks. It turns out she was on HKG-SFO-LAX and cleared customs in SFO. I was waiting for her at International Arrivals and she had to walk over with her luggage. At least I didn't have to sit around the airport until 10:00 pm.
