10 Hr Connection in PVG
Travelling HKT-BKK-PVG-ORD in December and have 10 hour layover in PVG. In BKK I'm going to enjoy the TG FCL in between flights. As there are limited options for lounges in PVG I was looking for other suggestions. Arriving arount 7 am and departing 5 pm. Thanks for any ideas.

Take the maglev out to town and transfer to the metro. You should have enough time to stroll along the Bund and go up the SWFC on the Pudong side.

Any visa requirements for a short visit?
If not, what is required to leave the airport for the day?
If I go into Shanghai is there a place in the airport to stow my carry-ons?
Thanks

Major Chinese airports all have Left Luggage facilities for a reasonable fee. As always, do not leave valuables.

Did visit Shanghai on my last 6.5 hours layover at PVG. Take the Maglev and take a taxi to the core downtown. If it is during dinner hour, try to have dinner at 100 Century Restaurant at the Park Hyatt, fantastic chinese foods, one of the best I ever experienced......
PS: US Passport are given a 48 hours free transit visa at PVG
