That's a sad story and I hope things improve, but the previous poster is correct. Everyone's problems could be worse. I have an apartment in Rio de Janeiro and believe me, every favelado would love to be homeless and poor in America vs being homeless and poor in Brasil. Substitute most of the rest of the world for Brasil and the equation still stands. Not to minimize your problems but this site in general and this set of threads in particular is not about solving world hunger or fixing the ozone layer or how to make cookies from scratch or a million other topics. It's about travel.
