FA gets 30 bullets past TSA, caught in NRT

TSA scores again - they missed 30 bullets in the crew member's bag. Japanese security caught the bullets as he passed through security for his return to the US.

Japanese airport police have found 30 bullets in an American Airlines crewmember's carry-on bag and say the flight attendant apparently carried them through his security checks at U.S. airports.

Police at Tokyo's Narita airport seized the bullets after finding them Saturday during a security check before the man boarded his duty flight back to the U.S.

It's not necessarily the TSA's fault. He is a crew member who probably used a KCM (Known Crew Member) line in the US.

TSA allows KCM nonsense and doesn't screen airport workers to the same degree as everyone else so I think that squarely puts the ball in TSA's blame net.
