New TSA Acting Administrator
DHS has appointed Francis X. Taylor as new Acting Administrator of TSA.
DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson announced on 1 June 2015 that Mark Hatfield had been appointed as Acting Administrator.

Hatfield was originally a PR hack with no background in security. His claim to fame was his dad.

PR skills are all he needs. TSA isn't looking to change (unless someone with connections has a new, expensive piece of hardware or software to flog).
