TSA Speedline in RDU

Posting here since i'm a US Gold, flying RDU-PHL-BDA and back regularly.

Are there any memberships or programs to get expedited/easiser security screening in RDU? I have NEXUS and can get Global Entry paid for by Amex. I haven't even really noticed an expedicted security line in RDU, but that's probably because I'm rarely sentient in the pre-dawn hours when I'm going through.

On the BDA side, I doubt that Doug Parker himself could help me. I don't thnk they have global entry anyway (for preclearling US customs) but it doesn't matter, I'm just as happy to get to be on a first-name basis with the Customs and Immigration guys.

As the actual questions don't really have anything to do with US Airways, but specifically with security, I'm moving this over to our TSS forum.

Thanks.

PreCheck starts April 1

RDU gets a per check line starting tomorrow. With your GE, you should be eligible.

If you have Nexus, you don't need Global Entry - as a NEXUS member, you got hook into the Global Entry system. Try it and see the next time you come back in.

TSA Speedline in RDU

Flew out a few times this week from RDU. They told me precheck would open on 3/28, and when I flew out again on 3/29, I noticed that the precheck line is also combined with what is now a preferred line for all carriers.

OP wont be able to use precheck due to BDA being international so it will be the regular security lane

I flew out of RDU this morning. There was an express line but as best I could tell, if you were "mere" elite you got an express line to get your ID checked, then a normal security line. But it was still pretty helpful to avoid the longer part of the line.
