Ex-Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) don't get indefinite exemptions from TSA screening as they don't have lifetime armed government escorts. The CJCS have more potential enemies than spouses of former Presidents and their minor children under the age of 16 years. Perhaps they need it even more, especially since they mostly still fly a lot after retirement too.

Let me get this straight, you are opposed to extending secret service protection for life to former U.S. presidents because you want them to through TSA screening? And you want them to go through TSA screening after they are out of power because you want them to push for reform after they are out of power?
