Is that different security agency?

Hi All,

I did not realize know that I lookup the website. It was private security screening in MCI but, it was called FirstLine Transportation Security.

Here the link:

Is that different security agency? I wasn't sure if it is private security screening and not TSA. Is that better private security screening rather than TSA. Is that partnership with TSA/DHS? Is that cost effective?

MCI is an opt-out airport. The screening is private, with TSA oversight. I don't know what the cost effectiveness is, but there has to be some sort of profit in there. I believe the pay for the screeners is supposed to mirror TSOs.
