Nicely done by the po-po though , but that shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone.
Did SgtScott defend this one as it was at his airport?

Agree. In his shoes (pants), I would have held my position and asked for a supervisor. Then I would have pointedly asked the supervisor if it was all right if I pulled my pants back up.

There's another video of this happening where the teenager is left standing with his pants around his ankles while the TSO finishes the grope and takes his leisurely time processing his gloves without directing the teenager to pull his pants back up or giving him permission to do so.

One of these days they're going to pull this on someone who's commando.

OK, who's up for a mileage run to that airport?...
Go in pairs; one goes 'commando' and the other goes through first and has his videophone at the ready for when the clerk 'pants' their friend
be sure to have a quick link to upload to the 'net

SgtScott doesn't appear to have returned since shortly after I pointed out that the arresting officer in that situation appeared to violate criminal statutes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/16844559-post460.html

Although, I can't say my comment had anything to do with his apparent disappearance from the boards - there were several others that pointed out some concerns with the comments he was making as well. And, even then, it could still be completely unrelated why he hasn't posted since then.

But, as you noted, I would be interested to hear his take of the situation since he is able to potentially provide some of the behind the scenes details that are not apparent in the video.

He'd back the action taken: something along the lines of 'pax refused a lawful order'. TSA would, of course, say he 'interfered' with the screening process.

I would like to know his opinion (although I know he'd be supportive) of the inflammatory language police at this airport like to use. Can't remember the specific terms used about the woman defending her daughter, but they were defnitely contradicted by the video. And Rand Paul was described as 'irate', but the video revealed a man who was certainly not irate. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Pants'd was described as 'aggressive', 'threatening' or 'irate' - all cop-speak for an excuse to get aggressive and apply force.

Yeah, something like the officer involved is a "real laid-back guy", yadda yadda.

BNA is on my No Fly List.

We found out a little more about the guy. Here he is in action in a different venue.
