Abolish DHS
An interesting blog post from Bruce Schneier. The Cato Institute (a rather right-leaning think tank) published a paper calling for the abolition of the DHS and the restructuring of its constituent agencies into groups that make more sense.
What I thought most interesting is that a group of Congressional Republicans had come up with what seems to be a well-thought out restructuring idea.
Perhaps the people in DC are finally realizing that something needs to be done.

I'd call Cato more libertarian than right-leaning. They upset the left with consistent small-government ideology... and the right with their disinterest in nation-building or engineering social values. Calling for abolition of DHS is right in line with their core philosophy.
