TSO William Touzani fired by TSA for having displayed collage in workplace

Christopher Elliott has posted the termination letter that TSA sent to former TSO William Touzani. Here's the link:

Termination Letter (PDF)

And here is Christopher's blog entry in which he discusses the termination:

Christopher Elliott:
TSA Watch: That was some birthday party — got anything for this hangover?

He will probably appeal it and get rehired, it is almost impossible to terminate a federal employee, unless it was a criminal action that was the cause of the termination.

From the letter....
...a willful disregard for TSA's values and conduct standards of its officers.
And Alvin Crabtree, who brought a firearm to work, and caught by one of his co-workers, is still employed.

Wow!!!!!!

But imho, there has to be more to it (2nd offense, 3rd offense, etc) or is the TSA actually now holding by their zero tolerance policy?

The mistake was not getting them to make a picture with the word "Idiot" in a bubble.

No, he aren't eligible to rehired work for TSA again. He will barred from TSA office. He is not allowed to return work at airport anymore. His behavior is not acceptable to poster on the wall. That's very wrong! He can't allowed it. He had a several warning from TSA manager & supervsior, too.

Yes, He have a several warning before and he won't listen to TSA manager or supervsior. That's why he got disciplinary action from AFSD.

Yup, sure he did. He got his letter from AFSD and that's why he was firing from TSA at airport.

No, you can't say that. That's wrong! You cannot allowed to ask someone else. They have to kept the personal thing.

You know better. It's against the rules. They have followed the specific rules. They have be respect their own private thing.

Unless the DFSD has also sacked every screener who has groped children, abused the elderly or disabled, or confiscated harmless items from passengers under threat of missing their flight, this is not "cleaning house", this is just a little light dusting.
