"No Security Lines" as a recruiting tool
Today I received an email seeking to recruit me to North Dakota. Here is a portion of the letter:
//Home to The University of North Dakota with 12,000 students is a NCAA Division 1 sports program with accredited medical & law schools plus 129 fields of study
The Airport has multiple jet service flights to Minneapolis in just 45 minutes and no security lines //.
The TSA "security" process is becoming such a hassle nationwide that employers are using short or no security lines at their airport as a recruiting tool!
I never thought it would come to this. But then there are many features of today's TSA that I would never have imagined a few years ago.

I haven't been there, but the sticky says GFK is expecting the devices (NoS) but doesn't have them yet.
I routinely fly out of FLG, another small airport, and there is no NoS - everyone goes through the WTMD. Overall it's pretty low key, not a bad experience at all, with just one exception (one TSO who tried to steal some items from my carry-on).
I suppose the recruiting statement is aimed at those who object to long waits, not gropings or privacy violations or irradiation.

I found flying out of GFK to be a pleasurable experience because there is only WTMD. However, I noticed that the agents seemed to be more thorough at checking IDs than at most airports. Also, the secured area is really small, right before the gate. When I flew out of the airport, we had to wait for a while outside of the gated area because it did not open until shortly before our flight.
I have no issue flying out of GFK again as long as there is no body scanner at the airport.
