I meant to spread the net far beyond TSA. It isn't an exclusive TSA problem. And if they don't enforce laws, how are they able to tell you you can't fly today. Isn't that based on the regulations? They can't arrest you, but they can sure turn you away, just as the border patrol can bar you from the country. Don't work too hard at making cute hair-splitting distinctions. The Justice Department and DHS are both empowered by laws passed by Congress.
