I was recounting to friends how smooth and efficient the security process was today for me and how friendly the smurfs were.

We both agreed that TSA turned off some of the nude-o-scopes and probably sent out a "thou shall be friendly and helpful" order to the staff at the airports.

We also agreed that we would both seriously consider returning to commercial flying on a regular basis IF it were like this all the time as it should be.

My friend summed it up very well when he said that the smooth and friendly hassle free security experienced today would not last very long and he said why,

"TSA is an addict, just like someone who is addicted to alcohol, or someone who is addicted to gambling, TSA is addicted to itself, addicted to abusing the public, and now it has become addicted to groping, it is all they know how to do and like any addict it is almost impossible for them to change on a long term basis"

Well said, but sadly I believe my friends statement to be a very accurate one

Power-addiction. It has brought some prominent figures down. Nixon is a classic case.

My OP was "edited" by one of the moderators because they thought it tasteless and I did quote in a very graphic way what my friend said about what TSA does with the gropes.

My apologies to the moderators or anyone offended by this, being tasteless was not my point when I posted that, if anything it was to point out how tasteless TSA is with its genital groping.
