Cool You all saw the pizza recruitment strategy, right?

I didn't see a thread devoted to the new campaign by the TSA to recruit employees. Apparently, pizza delivery customers are the target pool (along with, I suppose, pizza parlor workers who will see the ad time and again)

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fed..._to_recru.html

I think some of you, if you haven't read the advert, will enjoy the appeal to persons wanting a job where they get automatic "x-ray vision."

I apologize if this has already been posted and discussed, in which case hopefully a mod will close this thread.

two more excellent comments from the Post:

They should advertise on McDonald's Happy Meals since the behavior of the TSA agents at National Airport resembles a playground at an elementary school rather than serious professionals concerned about national security.
As other commenters have already noted: The pizza box advertisement does seem to be the ideal demographic for TSA employees. The bottom of the Federal Ladder for sure......I'm sure they were meeting resistance on college campuses to have a career in telling people to throw away their shampoo.

Do you have any facts that say the story is not accurate?

WTOP is one of the oldest and most reputable news radio stations in the U.S.. Michelle Bash has been a quality and ethical reporter in the DC area for many years. Frankly, she would lose her job and the station would lose its earned credibility if this story was made up.

Of course, what I just said was my own opinion. Here: I'll help you get started doing your own fact-checking.
