I also got 750/$3000. A 25% mile bonus, are you kidding me? Doesn't even make the card competitive with 2% CB. It's like UA is trolling to see how cheaply we can be bought. My card's staying firmly in the sock drawer.

I’d move some everyday otherwise unbonused spend to my card if I didn’t have to reach $2k to get any bonus. That is unlikely unless I put my estimated taxes on it. Doesn’t seem worth it.

Yeah, Chase must think we have all lost our minds (and our calculators). I just got an email with an offer to redeem my points for 80% of their normal value with Amazon purchases. That's 80% of the value if I just redeemed for cash. Barely over 50% what I can redeen the points for with booking travel through Chase. I guess trying to capture the market segment of total stupidity is a decent business plan..... I'm sure it looked good on a pie chart from the new bean counter in the board meeting.

This is United’s own fault.
After many years of using a UA card I stopped using it about three months ago. I now use a Chase Reserve and love it.
My wife signed up for the Chase business unlimited Ink and stopped using her UA card.
This is the incentive UA comes back with? Spend $3,500 for 2K miles? As others have said, what a joke.
As one article stated, “"There wasn’t anything the United card was doing for me that the Chase Sapphire Reserve couldn’t,” Al Sanzari told the Journal.”

$2000 for 2k. Annual spend ~10k. Since I'm getting 2x on grocery store purchases, between normal grocery shopping and GCs (which Safeway is now giving 10x J4U points on this week), this should be easy to clear.
Long credit history on this card, or else it would have been retired long ago.
