Theft coverage?

I had my entire carryon bag stolen in the airport. Some of the contents were paid for w CSar in past three months although the trip was not paid for with CSR. Am I eligible to file a claim? A theft claim not a missing baggage claim. It just happens to be that the item stolen was a bag.
