Simple conversion question from simple user..
I have 600,000+ point/miles (?) with my Shapphire card. My wife has never been to Europe (I was ARMY, '60s) .. is there a 'best way' to convert these rewards into a trip to France, Portugal or Italy? (one-not all three) I have never used these rewards for anything before.
No tours, we would simply rent a car and/or take trains between a couple of destination cities within about a 10 day period. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks. Jim

Welcome to Flyertalk.
The best way is to transfer to an airline frequent flyer program and redeem for award flights. DO NOT TRANSFER ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT AWARD SEATS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC DATES, FLIGHTS, AND CABIN.
You will need to spend some time learning about frequent flyer and hotel rewards programs. Start with this thread. Read the Wikipost at the top first:

When you ask questions mention what you already know. This allows others to focus their replies -and- it eliminates any perception that you are not doing your own work.

600,000 points is worth at the very least $7,200 when booking directly through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. You'll undoubtedly get more value out of the points by transferring to airline miles directly, but you can use that $7.2k number as a baseline.
