I lost the ability to combine points online between business and personal cards... Maybe I read and/or misunderstood previous posts incorrectly but isn't there a way the Rep could have added my personal UR card as an option so that I could combine without calling? If so, what key words should I use?

My understanding, from my call yesterday, was that once UR are moved/combined from one card to another, that card will then show up and you can combine any time in the future. Just call and don't mention "business" or "personal". Just say you want points from card A combined into card B. Once they move some UR it should "stick". Or, maybe I'm not understanding your question. :)

But before calling again, check to see if you can now do the combining yourself.

You understood correctly. Rep helped with combine points but the personal credit card didn't stick / isn't present from the business card to combine on my own via website.

I checked but can't as the personal card isn't an option to combine with business card. Maybe I should have Rep transfer again to see if card will stick this time?

Ask the phone agent specifically to add the card. If you ask them to simply combine points, that's all they'll do.

Is anyone else having issues transferring to household member? I had my CSR on my wife's freedom unlimited account for points transfer but I got a new number for my CSR so deleted the old one but was NOT able to add my new CSR. I tried calling tech support but they said there is a known issue right now and they would reach out once the issue is resolved. Any tips? Thank you all in advance!

When I went through this process recently the rep said: I can't just add the card, I have to move/combine some UR pts first and then the card will be added. I said fine. She moved the pts and the card was there when I logged in a few minutes later.

I tried to add my wife as the recipient but was unable to today. I’m trying to transfer some points from my card to my wife’s Sapphire Reserve card to buy 2 plane tickets. Basically top off so she has enough to buy two tickets.
First of all chase no longer lets you add a household member online anymore so I called it in. The first rep told me I have to be a authorized user on my wife’s Reserve card in order for her to receive the points. Which I know is wrong. He transferred me to someone else and they too wasn’t able to transfer the points. Saying my wife has sent or received points to someone else this year. So she’s no longer eligible to receive points from me. So if this was true fine. But it’s not. She has not sent or received points to anyone this year. We haven’t traveled. Chase couldn’t fix it. So we’re stuck. Anyone run into this issue before? Curious what the actual problem is on chases end. |

Recently transferred over my P2's balance over to my account by calling in to link my account and transfer the UR points.
Alas, now with a 0 balance, P2's account no longer shows my linked account, so we can't unlink it. Has anyone run into this? I imagine we'll have to call in for this unlinking process |
Accidentally unlinked my wife's card from mine a few weeks ago, phoned to relink and was told that they couldn't relink accounts that had been previously unlinked.
I can't fathom any reason why they would have this restriction. The agent tried to link them but was unable to. |
Have to say, this is just a ridiculous situation. Its so annoying that something which has worked for years just stops working...
There seems to be no desire or impetus on Chase's part to restore the previous functionality. Regards |
