Has anyone ever used the UR portal for booking rental cars in foreign countries?
Hi!
I want to use UR points to book a rental car in Cancun, but I've heard about how third party sites aren't as good as booking directly with a company because there will be hidden fees, especially a rental company in a different country.
I want to turn down the main insurance coverage (and use primary insurance with CSP or InkPlus) and just get liability insurance.
Anyone have any experience with this? If it turns out that I'm charged extra fees will Chase reimburse me at all?
Also, If I book using only UR points and no cash am I still covered by the Primary Insurance offered from CSP or InkPlus?
