1. Not returning the order as requested by the company will likely result in denial of the chargeback, having nothing to do with the nature of the original order, but simply because the merchant is entitled to fix the problem. Understand that OP has time constraints, but those can be part of the return. If the item is not returned as ordered and within the time deadline, the dispute will likely go OP's way.
2. Doing a double charge-back with PP and Chase is a big no-no. Read the t&c.
I would withdraw the disputes, return the item with a note listing what is wrong and the deadline. If, somehow the item is produced correctly, OP has what was ordered. If not, it's an easy chargeback.
