Chase Amazon Card

My wife and I have a joint Amazon card account, which we never use anymore and we have both maxed out our available credit with Chase so we usually need to shift around credit between accounts when applying for new cards. The problem is, however, we can't shift any credit out of the Amazon card because it is a joint account. We have a $16K limit on the card and it's our oldest card...about 8 years. (I've held Amex cards since '88).

What would you do with this card? Hold? Cancel? Hold and request credit reduction? Other?

As long as you aren't paying an AF, no point in canceling it.

Is it possible to convert it to an individual account so that you can start shifting limits around?
