So, is it worth it to apply for 2 Chase cards, and get a denial on record, when I am almost certain that this will happen? How long does this denial stay on record?
The credit pull stays on your report for 2 years. |

Not sure were you got this info from but not true. They don't match credit pulls up with approval/denial.

How does it not work well? I just did the 2bm Chase for two different applicants. Second application was automatically rejected for 'too many requests for credit". However, a call to the recon line did the trick. Expecting to get one hard pull for the double apps.

So how did it go?

Does the 2 browser trick work for getting the Chase Sapphire Preferred & Chase United Mileage Plus Explorer cards, so that I do not get initially rejected for one of them?
I will be doing my first app-o-rama today. Also, is there any particular order that I should be applying for my cards? Here's what I'm getting: - Chase Sapphire Preferred - Chase United Mileage Plus Explorer - Barclay's USAir Mastercard - Hilton HHonors American Express |

If you think that you will be denied you should not apply. Have you checked your credit to make sure that it is up to par with what you would need for approval? Also many people have been denied for a card with Chase but gotten the approval after calling. You just need to call the reconsideration line and let them know why you would be a good customer and why you need the card.

My credit is stellar, it's just that I know that it is customary for Chase to deny if more than one card was applied for, that's all.

This is not true. Many have received instant approvals for two personal cards at once. The problem now is it seems they always want more info for business apps. It does not matter if it is one or two.
My own question here. I've got plenty of personal cards but have only applied and was eventually approved for one business card through Chase. I'm getting ready to apply for another business card, does anyone know from past experience about whether or not you get the "instant denial" and have to call to provide more information OR if they are more likely to approve since you already have a business card. Doesn't really matter because I have no issues about calling... more of just my own curiosity. |

Hey Dad, how did you talk Chase into giving you a business card? In Jan, I plan my first Churn and the INK Bold will be one of the cards. I do not have a business, however, I run 2 Non profits, which would be the reason for the Business cards, do you know if Chase would except this reason?
