They sent an email about some downtime early this AM - maybe a lag.

News reports of them "having issues" ... no report of a DDOS attack or information breach, however strangely when I tried to log in today it says my username/pw combo not correct....

Access through mobile applications does not appear to be affected. I made a payment yesterday through the Android app, and today the balance shown on the app reflects the payment. Yodlee is also able to retrieve updated information.

My browsers couldn't even find the chase page yest. Just said that page did not exist or a firewall was preventing it from loading. When it finally came back, I was hesistant to sign in.

I came straight to FT to see if anyone had an explanation. No one posted so I figured it was a problem on my end.

They are still having issues.
Typical maintenance is late on Sat night into Sun morn. but doesnt look to be maintenance related.

There was an email a short time back that in the next couple of weeks they were going to make a clean up (cleaner look) to the online site.

Hopefully if it changes it wont change into what amex has now

I opened a Chase account for a business of ours and made one charge that pretty much took up all the spend limit. It took 30 minutes on the phone yesterday to receive someone and to make a payment.

Worse yet, since the payment ended up being shortly after 8pm eastern, it'll take another day to post; rep today said I should have made the payment earlier. I would have if your website worked.

I too had problem with chase.com last night. After several failed attempts I gave up on the computer. Then I saw my iPhone sitting on the night stand, out of curiosity, I tried to log on the chase mobile site – surprisingly I was able to log on (and see the pending transaction from CC for a purchase that I made <10 minutes ago).

So if this thing happens again and you need access your accounts, try the mobile site on your smart phone.

This was in the USA Today "Iran allegedly is behind cyber attacks this week against the websites of JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, NBC says"

After reading the complete article it talks about an attack that overloads the website so it's almost unusable.
