i applied for the Marriott Premier Visa card under the 80k offer. didn't get approved instantly but just received a letter saying i will receive the new card in 10 days.
however, only *after* i applied did i realize that it was less than two years since i received the previous sign up bonus from Marriott Visa card. (I cancelled it after one year.)
so my question is, does the approval means i will get the 80k offer? how do I find out?

The only good news is that, unlike Citi, having applied/received this card does not re-set the time clock. So you can cancel this card, and apply for another once the 24 months from the previous bonus is up.

How long does it typically take for this card to arrive after approval? I was approved October 6 and still nothing. I have a paid Marriott stay coming up so I'm really hoping to have this by then.

Seems the updated offer is targeted? After clicking "Apply" and signing in my account, I can only see a 50k pts after $1000. So sad =(

The Business 70K for $2K offer is dead. Landing page goes to the current $3K offer, original application page is dead, current application page has the language for the Cat 1-5 certificate on the a anniversary.

1) I logged into Marriott account
2) Went to My Account>Marriott Rewards Credit Card
3) Clicked Learn More
4) It opened a new tab and showed me details that implied it 'knew' I already had the card
5) I closed that tab and logged out
6) The 70K offer shows up on the log out success page (Before you go...)

Only seeing 50k on 3 different accounts via that method. Hoping to get 70k offers on my parents and sisters to utilize the 50k transfer a year.

I just got the 80k offer in the mail. No fee waived for the first year but it will be two years for me since my last bonus in a couple weeks so I'll likely go for it once I finish the spend on my SPG 30k offer. Says the offer is good until 12/7.
