Chase CO CC application question

Does anyone have conclusive answer how long between Chase CC application is a good idea. I've seen between 30 days - 6 month. I currently have 5 chase cards (some longer than 5 years old). I recently applied for CO World MC, and it's almost 6weeks. Now, i've decided to do some Mileage Runs, and calculated that paying $375 for PP World MC would be a good idea. This is not purpose for churning, since I've never had any CO cards before the last World MC app.

Not necessarily true. My wife recently received two Chase cards within a 3 month period (Dec. & Mar.). However, when I tried the same thing, I was told "sorry, only one Chase card every 6 months". So, bottom line, YMMV. I eventually was able to get my 2nd card approved after pleading with a super.

[Edit: Read the 3/26/10 entry here for another successful "2-apps-within-6-months" story--- http://frugaltravelguy.com/ ]

Hmmm, i guess it seems that it is YMMV. Because I also did 3month, Nov, 2009 for Chase BA, and Feb, 2010 for Chase CO World.

I succesfully applied for Chase cards in September and February, so I can confirm that 6 months is not the rule.

60 days should be a safe waiting period, I would think.
