Any bonuses for adding second card to UA Visa
Want to get a second card for my wife on my UA Visa.
Just as well get some bonus miles if there are any to be had.
Any links to bonuses?

Not that I'm aware of. I added another user to my card, but I didn't get any bonus for it.
What may make better sense is to have your wife apply for one herself (she gets the 30,000 miles in her name) and make sure she gives the rep the referral code so you get the referral bonus:

On the United website, I think the referral bonus is only 5000 miles. I've seen the 15,000 referral bonus miles floating around before, but I'm not sure whether those are targeted offers (I don't believe so).
The only downside is that your wife would need to pay the annual fee (whereas a companion card would be free - no additional annual fee).

Have done the referral for her and got the miles last year.
15K for me and 30K for her. Then canceled her card.
Need to build my account back up as I just cashed in most of my UA miles.
We both have DL AMEX and AA Mastercards which all go to my accounts.
Use DL Amex for everything we can, but need a Visa card for UA instead of building more on AA. She uses that when she can't use Amex. I have about 135K in AA but down to 2K UA. I want to work on building it back up.
