How Early to Arrive at GUA
I have a 10:15 AM flight on Aeromexico from Guatemala La Aurora.
I've been warned by many to arrive 2+ hours before, but is that necessarily the case? I will have hand luggage only (and it won't need to be gate checked), and will be flying J/with STE+. I should be checked in online.

I would. One time the power was out and they couldn't process anything and security was stopped. Once it came back the lines were super long.
Just be safe and get there early.
