BEA World Flyer (Or SupremeGold WMC) for everything else ($5/AM)

Slightly more complex would be:
(1) HSBC 6X = $4.16/AM, so maybe it is worthwhile to do one of the other three categories (Entertainment/Lifestyle/Home)? Where would you put the HSBC 9X?
(2) Citi Rewards for Supermarkets + Telecoms?
Yes apply for cards in this order:

1. BEA flyer world
2. SCB AM
3. HSBC 6X
4. Citi Reward

Apologies for harking back again to the fine print of the complex Bankcomm promo. Percysmith posted in answer to my previous query that, according to Clause 17, it seems it should be possible to get bonuses on the same card for both $30k in one phase and also $5K x 3 phases.

So to get both bonuses how much do I need to charge to the Bankcomm card in the month when I spend $30K? Should I charge $30K? Or $35K this month? (i.e. does the $30K spending also cover the $5K spending requirement for this phase? Or do I need to add another $5K on top?)

I decided to give them a call this evening. It turns out that my latest salary slip is required. I have 2 cards with SCB already, but the CS says it's required. I've been told it's another 3-4 weeks of wait.

Yes thejae the rule is every time you need a new account the bank expects to see a fresh pay slip and address proof even if they are not increasing your line (they can say they are checking your info is still current).

But taking ages to tell u is bad systems on SCB's part.

Postscript 3 May: Citi doesn't. But that's the exception more than the norm.

Paywave seems not working on my EYE card in Korea so far....

Has anyone used the EYE card PAYWAVE overseas? Which country/city?

Yes. If you book direct with chain hotels, hotels generally don't charge until day before arrival in case room not available.

Nope, the payment was taken within 24hrs and the same type of booking was regarded as online booking according to Fubon.

Did anyone make flights/hotels online (instant payment) and not recognise as online spending by CCB EYE?

Yes there're others http://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/fo...w.php?id=15346

You might want to fax the accor confirmation to 3111 6124, assert payment was taken within 24h and ask them to adjust.

Thanks for the link.

OMG, it seems frustrating to utilise all the HKD50000 + 25000 online bonus points quota....I at least need to call once every 2-3 months to claim back the missing bonus points...

Show them the #33 post, ask them to try it. Might need to put you foot down/wave some arms eightblack-style.
