Award ticket on BA

Does anyone know what the tax level is when redeeming an award ticket for travel from NA to Europe, on BA? When checking on the BA WEB site on a ticket they would issue for C class on said route, the tax & fee total is about $340 per. ticket. Some carriers are less and thus I was wondering would my Asia miles allow me to get a BA award flight with lower fees?

I am not aware of being able to avoid the taxes and surcharges on BA....

BA's are pretty steep trans atlantic....depending on the city, perhaps consider AA...they have very low taxes...

Asiamiles charges exactly what BA miles charges.... fuel surcharges and everything except there is no service fee !

Perhaps you might consider using your asiamiles for upgrades on BA instead?

Use AA miles to redeem on BA. AA doesn't charge YQ. You cannot redeem between USA and UK, but you can redeem between Canada and UK.@:-)
