Anyone could give me insights on CX service, onboard service to AMS and whether the new B747 feasturing the new business class will be available?

Tks,

Tks,
Please check the CX FAQ for your third question. the faq has detailed info about what aircraft flies what route. haven't flown to AMS yet so no experience there, my apologies.

Tks,
As most of the 747s would be reconfigured to new seats by mid/end of the year, your chances of getting the new seats would be 90%. But it would also help if you can tell us when you're going.

As flight is evening flight, you'll get a supper service + breakfast.

Isn't there only one 744 which is not yet converted, and isn't that either already in or going in for conversion very shortly?

I am flying AMS-HKG on Sunday, 22/03, and the flight departs 13h15. I assume they will not serve supper and breakfast, right?
My return flight is on 05/04.

From my readings I gather only 1 B747 has not yet been converted so I expect to get the new metal.

Tks,

GB is referring to HKG-AMS since your topic title reads to AMS.

I am sorry. I will be flying AMS-HKG on Sunday, 22 March. I assume we will receive a lunch service and breakfast before landing?

I am FF of AF/KL and currently migrating to OW so do not know much about CX. I hope I did a good decision in leaving Flying Blue (AF/KL). I am also happy CX is now deploying the B747 in AMS! ^ I expect to be a frequent guest of CX B747 in AMS!
