Question Pyjamas in F on CX

Travelling LHR/HKG/ICN in F on 16 June on CX252/CX418. What is the current colour of the Shanghai Tang pyjamas in F.

I relly like my black ones with the lime green trim.

All the 744's should have been converted to 74A by then so no risk of old seats.

Is it worth going into The Arrival off CX252 or go straight to Wing/Pier ?

I have to beg the question why do people where the pyjamas ? to show they have been in F ? they dont make any difference to travelling / sleeping in your own loose clothes.

They are black with orange trim.

Actually, you'd be surprised. On flights they are indeed much more comfortable than your own clothes, especially in F. I wear F PJs at home, too

The only time I've ever gotten pj's in F was on Air China and they were great. Made it much more comfortable to sleep from JFK to PEK in their new sleeper seats.

For me they do. Far fewer wrinkles on arrival, and I don't feel as though I'm wearing the clothes I slept in all night,... because, of course, I haven't slept in them all night.

I'm really not sure, I've only been doing CX for two years...they used to be black with green trim when I started on CX, and in 2008 at some point (can't exactly remember when) they started doing the orange ones.

I'm going to guess that what bizclassboy intended to ask, but failed to do so clearly, was -- why wear the F PJs when you can bring your own sweatpants and T-shirt to change into? Which is fine, but why bring that extra stuff when you're going to get a free pair anyway?

In the time I've noticed the pjs have had yellow trim, then green, then blue with button up front then orange with button up front.

I think the old style with pullover top rather than button up front is more comfortable.

The pre-ST PJs were much more comfortable than "your own loose clothes". The ST are much more stylish but were a big step backward in comfort and clothing quality; but the ST name goes a long way and CX is never going back to their older and better PJs.

The ST PJs make great stocking stuffers, fwiw.

Not to split hairs too much, but I think they're actually dark blue--more noticeable when you hold them up against something that's actually black.

I didn't fly CX in the days of the pre-Shanghai Tang PJs, but I think the current PJs are pretty comfortable. The previous ones must have been exceptional.
