OLCI has problems right now?

It/s 6.10pm HK time, on 28 Jan and I can't seem to OLCI at T-47 hours. I received the notifly reminder via email, the check in link appears on my online itinerary, but when I click on the link, it says it can't find my booking.

Are others having the same problem?

Did you try going through the non-member way (e. g. using your first name, last name, flt no., day of dep.)?
You will need to log-out first.
If it still doesn't work, did you try using your e-tkt number? (Is it a CX or a KA tkt?)

Yes tried both of those...when logging in with name and flt no, it does find the reservation but says that the flight is not available for check in. Hmmmm. And a friend of mine on the same flight, different PNR also has the same problem.

"Not available for check-in" generally means a late equipment change.

I have that problem several times. The last time was last year. There was an equipment change (well, so usual) for 873 from 74A to 744. I believe that was because a plane got a hole in YVR and CX tried to reschedule the aircrafts for the next few days. I called MPC to request a seat after failing to check in. At the airport, I found that someone got my seat already.

Well still can't check in. The annoying thing is my friend is connecting to a hkg-akl flight which looks like it is heavily overbooked and I'm trying to increase his upgrade chances (he is gold). But because the bkk-hkg flight can't check in, he can't check in for the akl flight.

The offending flight is cx712 on 30 Jan.

I had some other problems with the OLCI. After I typed in the passport details and pressed the "submit" button, an error message "error 500!" popped out and the check-in confirmation page was not shown. When I clicked the "my account" and went to the OLCI page, it showed that I had checked in. It was quite annoying as it happened several times before.

Anyone saw the same error message?

Does anyone know in what situation are we able to do OLCI on CX/KA for a connecting flt not operated by CX/KA? So far I could only do this for AA 24 hours before STD. Last time I tried MU, but it does not work. (The system allows me to type all my passport information until at the end an error occurs, which is really annoying.)

A good example is if you fly with CX these legs will be ok T-48hr, then say you fly with BA they will open OLCI T-24 but even though you are connecting from CX to BA the CX OLCI will not check you through onto the BA flight. I recall *A will do this but on OW seems not

How come it is available for an AA flt, but not a BA flt?
(I do know in both BA's and MU's cases I am able to obtain the BP in airport)
Does anyone have a list of airlines that CX can check-through from OLCI?

Thanks!
