Upgrades with Marco Polo Diamond
Hi,
If you are a Marco Polo diamond (OW Emerald) what is the likelyhood of getting a free upgrade from Econ to Business or Business to First if you pay a full fare in the fist place.
Would it be possible between LHR-HKG?

You won't get an upgrade regardless of your status just by paying full fare. You will only have a chance to get a free upgrade if the cabin is overbooked, and then the priority of upgrade will depend on status mostly.

sxc is right. and don't forget that marco polo diamond = ow emerald, but being ow emerald doesn't automatically let you have the same bonuses as MPC diamond. =) in fact, ow emerald is quite far down the list for upgrades.
