Redemption Quandary
I have a choice to redeem AS miles for 2 F tickets LAX-MEL/SYD-LAX both on the QF A380 or YYZ - HKG F on a CX 777. I have been to all destination before but strickly on the flight experience what are the opinions?

I flew CX yyz-hkg in early Nov. 08 in F. I was very excited based on everything I have read on FT. It was not a bad experience but it sure didn't come close to meeting my expectations. I also must agree with the prior poster F in the 380!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I tried the QF A380 F Class and to be honest, if you think CX's service is not up to scratch, you better stay away from QF. Maybe I had a bad crew. Also do note there are 14 pax vs 6 pax on CX.
The seat is nice, but the CX seat is nicer and wider.
The A380 is overhyped IMO - I am always a 747 person!

Thanks for the advice. We are going with CX. Got two tickets booked YYZ-HKG-ICN-HKG-YYZ. ICN will be a new stop so will give the new CX F a try (at least as far as HKG).
